The Rising Stars Symposium is a career and professional development opportunity for late-stage doctoral students and early-stage postdoctoral researchers - apply by Feb. 29. The third annual event will take place at Sanford Burnham Prebys from May 1 – 3, 2024 in San Diego, CA, and scholars can apply for participation by February 29.

Over the three days, Rising Stars will:

• Present their research in an oral format
• Attend a networking reception with other students, postdoctoral researchers and faculty
• Participate in a leadership development session
• Tour laboratories and core facilities
• Meet individually with faculty to learn about available postdoctoral opportunities

Travel, lodging and meals will be paid for by Sanford Burnham Prebys. Interested scholars must submit an application by February 29, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PST, and provide an abstract, CV and the contact information of a PI, research advisor or mentor who can serve as a reference.

Selected scholars will be notified by March 22, 2024.
